Ruth Seroussi represents corporate clients and financial institutions in both state and federal courts. Specifically, she represents California and nationwide employers in the mortgage lending, retail, apparel, manufacturing, hospitality and entertainment industries in all aspects of employee relations, including: preparing employment policies and handbooks, negotiating and preparing employment and severance agreements, training managers and supervisors in discrimination and harassment issues, and defending employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets matters. She also provides advice and counsel on day-to-day personnel issues. Additionally, Ms. Seroussi has extensive experience representing mortgage lenders and restaurants in wage and hour class actions and unfair competition laws of California and other states. Ms. Seroussi received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations in 1992 from Cornell University and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1995, where she was an editor of the Environmental Law Journal, among other things.
